This Passion Project

After nearly 2.5 years of excuses and procrastination, I'm back at it with my videos. Finding the perfect content to share was tough, but thanks to my recent cookbook club inspiration, I'm launching a series of videos with intense recipes I’ve never tried!  The most challenging part of these videos is starting them and carving out the time to do the projects I love that are only for me.  As a consultant, I have been caught up doing other people's projects and always put my passion projects aside.  It is time to carve out this time for my own amusement.

Looking forward to featuring fun guests and tackling 'grandma recipes.' Message me if you've got a generation family secret recipe you'd like to share and document. πŸ’Œ
I’ll test out recipes embedded in incredible stories and share the journey through videos and blog posts. My goal is to inspire everyone to whip out those aprons and dive into the labor of love of cooking together. Plus, show off my beautiful HK, where I shop for groceries and hang out with my foodie friends.

This 15-minute video was shot entirely on three iPhones and took over two weeks to create and edit! Since the last video, many good editing apps and styles have emerged, and it is taking me some time to relearn everything. I am not an editor or videographer, and I am self-taught.  Over the years, I have enjoyed documenting my cooking and titbit of fun moments cooking recipes I was good at.  But this time, I would like to step out of my comfort zone and tackle recipes I never thought I would make.  I have always been a cook who just cooks what's in my fridge. Still, following another person's recipe, especially challenging ones, I found it therapeutic to lose myself in the recipe and prepare this labor of love to share with my friends and family.  The process of cooking it with my loved ones, where they chop, and I cook, is my favorite moment throughout the whole process, more so than eating it these days.

πŸŽ₯ The style of my video? Purely candid, unfiltered, and genuine—just me in my moment, all natural, in my kitchen, shopping and cooking a meal.
Through my videos, I hope to inspire you to cook more heartwarming meals for your loved ones. After all, it's not about how fancy the food looks, but the act of creating and enjoying it together that sprinkles that extra magic. ✨
